This is a staff development course, primarily intended for those working in professional service departments or in support roles in the schools.
The workshop is designed for members of staff who need to share information and knowledge with other members of staff, particularly those who work across different teams or departments. There is no specific pre-course preparation, although it is helpful if participants come prepared to talk about how knowledge is managed in their team at present, and what are the strengths and what are the gaps.
Attending this course will enable you to develop understanding and ability to enable you to respond effectively to the challenges of managing knowledge and information within an organisation in order to protect the business and to improve business performance. Completing the coursework element can contribute to the achievement of a Level 5 Award or Certificate accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management.
