to identify and explain some main grammatical structures of German
to describe your background, immediate environment and matters of immediate need in simple terms
to write and speak contemporary German on Level A1 (end of Semester A) and A2 (end of Semester B) of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) addressing a wide range of topics and expressing your thoughts
to write a series of simple phrases and sentences linked with simple connectors, displaying greater control of grammatical structures
to become aware of the structural and lexical characteristics of the German language
