This module covers statistical analysis of
experiments in the social sciences. The module builds on the methods you
acquired in the Data Analytics and Programming for Business Analytics
modules. The methods used to study proper randomized controlled trials
and settings that are similar require you to understand advanced
econometric techniques, such as difference-in differences regressions,
matching estimators, regression discontinuity designs and instrumental
variables techniques. These methods will be introduced in the context of
experiments that have been run in business and social contexts with
large numbers of participants.
